We’re living in a chaotic time that has created trauma for many of us, which can express itself in psychological, emotional and physical ways. As we turn to online outlets for work, school and our social lives, some virtual meeting places don’t foster the support that we need.

In fact, these harmful spaces can stigmatize and reduce resiliency, leaving us on guard and defensive. No wonder we’re exhausted. Instead, we need to break down the language around trauma and find better ways to communicate with each other. After all, we share stresses that manifest in different ways, and this commonality connects us as we discuss the best ways to recover, heal and transform for the future.
